How does Elfie score my pronunciation?
Elfie uses AI speech recognition to transcribe what you say, then compares it to the target sentence word by word.
Each word is scored as correct (exact match), near-correct (minor mispronunciation), or mispronounced. Missing or extra words are also flagged.
The score is a percentage of correctly pronounced words. This is a guide, not an exact science — the goal is to help you notice which words need more practise.
